TOWARDS EMBODIED AND SYSTEMIC UNDERSTANDING
Cognitive understanding alone is rarely enough to bring about real change. As human beings, we also need an experiential level – and just as importantly, the ability to place individual experience within a broader systemic context.
Ida prepared and performed a powerful monologue as part of our workplace-focused event. The monologue was written specifically for the occasion and was based on the themes addressed during the event. Ida created the piece to support our message about a more humane working life, approaching the topic through the lens of art and embodied experience.

ABOUT ME
I am a performing artist, communication specialist, and trained dancer. In my work, I want to bring together embodied, systemic, and societal perspectives in a unique and integrated way. At the core of my practice is a holistic exploration of human existence – through the lenses of embodiment, thinking, and interaction.
In addition to my dance training, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and have worked for many years in Professor Esa Saarinen's team in Aalto University. The co-operation with Professor Saarinen has deepened my understanding of the systems-analytical framework and its application to both individual and organizational dynamics. In my own work, I also draw on the framework of Open Dialogue, which emphasizes the importance of relational interaction between the individual and their community as a fundamental part of identity formation and development.
Although my ways of working are diverse, at the core lies a deep curiosity about the nature of humanity and the dynamics of the systems we form together.
